The return of Chris Busaileh inspired Herne Hill Harriers to silver success at the South of Thames five-mile cross-country championships at Streatham Common.
Busaileh, who is recovering from a stress fracture, finished 10th in 28 minutes 58 seconds to help a four-man Harriers team take win silver behind Kent AC.
Alan Barnes (28:28) led Herne Hill home in sixth ahead of Mike Cummings (28:53) in ninth, with Busaileh and John Kettle (17th, 29:33) completing the Harriers quartet.
Harriers also won silver medals in the team competition for the first eight counters, with Robin Jones (30th, 30:38), Mohammed Ismail (34th, 31:00), John Tayleur (36th, 31:09) and Basil Wallace (40th, 31:32) completing the eight.
In the same race, Karen Ellison clocked 33:53 to finish second in the ladies race.
Lewis Lloyd was also in cross-country action, finishing 13th in the juniors race at the British Athletics Challenge in Liverpool.
Elsewhere, Tom Levitt finished 36th in the City of Norwich Half Marathon in a personal best time of 1.25:23.
Away from long distances, Harriers dominated the Dulwich parkrun with six runners in the first 11.
U17 athlete Ed Olsen ran a personal best of 15:52, in finishing second, ahead of clubmates Mohammed Ismail (third, 16:56) and Mike Boyle (fourth, 16:59).
Another junior, Billy Black (seventh, 17:11), got the better of V50 men Vic Maughn (eighth, 17:18) and Gary Ironmonger (11th, 17:32).
Meanwhile, Jonny Muir ran a personal best of 17.03 to finish second at the Brockwell parkrun.
