Hercules Wimbledon's double Surrey silver medalist Jaleel Ropar broke two club records in the second of this season's Ebbisham Boys League matches at Walton on Sunday.

He took the U13 boys 100m and 300m in 12.4 seconds and 40 6secs.

He equalled the 100m record set by Martin Giraud in 1990 and the 300m mark of 47.7secs set by James Forde last year - his 100m time ranks him fifth in the UK in his age group this season.

Another Hercules Wimbledon sprinter in form is Max Mondelli who warmed up for this weekend's South of England Championships at Crystal Palace by gaining a sprint double at the London Inter-Club Challenge meeting at Allianz Park, Hendon.

He took the 100m and 200m in personal best times of 10.75secs and 21.82secs. His 100m time, which improved on his 10.85 in the Surrey Championships at Kingsmeadow last month, ranks him ninth in the UK in his age gorup this season.

There were three Hercules Wimbledon winners in the weekend's parkruns - Ben Toomer headed home a 249-strong field on Wimbledon Common in 17 minutes 22 seconds, Lisa Thomas posted the top age-graded performance in winning the women's race in 19:44, 11 seconds slower than her best time for the course.

Meanwhile, in Fulham's Bishop Park, Alexie Calvert-Ansari headed home a 150-strong field in a personal best time of 17:13. It took seven seconds off his previous best as he posted his second win in three appearances in Bishops Park.
