Sherwood Park and Overton Grange schools in Sutton will be battling it out at the Olympic Park to be crowned champions at the annual London Panathlon finals.

They will be among nearly 200 disabled children from 21 schools from across the capital descending on The Copper Box Arena for the multi-sport event on June 18.

Each team has reached the showpiece day of action through two regional qualifying competitions, and they will participate in a variety of specialised sports for the right to be named 2014 London Panathlon champions.

The sports include swimming, boccia, football, polybat, table cricket, new-age kurling, field events and athletics.

Hosted by Panathlon Challenge, they will be welcoming their ambassador, Paralympic swimmer Liz Johnson, to this year's final.

Competing in the 100m breaststroke S6 class, she won bronze at the London 2012 Olympic Games, silver at Athens and gold in Beijing.
