Wimbledon's Hutchins relishing second shot at SW19

Home sweet home: Wimbledon's Ross Hutchins, right, with doubles partner Colin Fleming at SW19 last week
Ross Hutchins may have had a disappointing Wimbledon Championship this summer, but he will get a second bite of the cherry to impress at SW19 this year.
The 26-year-old was last week named in the men’s Team GB tennis team for the London Olympics, alongside regular doubles partner Colin Fleming.
Hutchins, who collected his Team GB kit in Loughborough this week, got the nod based on his doubles ranking – which currently has him in the world’s top 30 after ATP Tour doubles title wins at Eastbourne and Delray Beach this year.
“So pleased to be in the Olympics gonna be real special. Very excited,” he tweeted.
The former KGS Wimbledon student made his Davis Cup debut this year – with Fleming – and currently has an unbeaten record in the competition.
Hutchins could yet finish Wimbledon fortnight on a high, as he is a regular training partner with Britain’s Andy Murray.
The number four seed beat Spain’s David Ferrer 6-7 7-6 6-4 7-6 to reach his a fourth straight Wimbledon semi-final where he will face Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga today.
