Kingston AC & Poly Harriers’ star of tomorrow Pippa Earley was a double gold winner at last weekend’s English National Age Group Championships last weekend.

The 14-year-old’s performance in the long jump (5.62m) and the 75m hurdles (10.93secs) put her top of the U15 rankings in the country, adding it to her number one spot in the pentathlon.

Clubmate Rhianna Reynolds won silver in the U17s triple jump with a leap of 11.22m.

Walton AC had plenty of reason to cheer as well, with the Mace siblings continuing their domination of the throws competition.

Sophie defended her U17s discus crown (44.16m), while brother Sam won silver in the U15s hammer (56.73m), before taking on the top two in the country to set a personal best of 47.91 to win discus gold.

Tait Jones won bronze in the girls’ U15 discus with a throw of 32.73m, while Calum Beauchamp set a personal best 57.86secs in the U17s 400m hurdles, however it was not good enough to reach the final.
