Harry Aikines-Aryeetey says he is now concentrating on qualifying for the Rio Olympics.
The 27-year-old Sutton & District AC sprint star failed to make an impact in British Indoor Championships men’s 60m final at English Institute of Sport, Sheffield, on Saturday where he finished sixth in 6.69 seconds.
Croydon’s James Dasaolu bagged his third national title after posting a season’s best 6.53secs, followed by Andrew Robertson (6.54secs) and Sean Safo-Antwi (6.57secs).

Aikines-Aryeetey, who failed to qualify for next month’s IAAF World Indoor Championships which will be held in Portland, USA, said: “The British Championships both indoors and outdoors is always special occasion.
"To get a chance to do a championship and go through the rounds doesn’t happen very often so it has been good to progress through today.
“I have things to work on now with my coach Benke Blomkvist and we will look towards the outdoors now, Rio is the big goal for this season.”
