Leatherhead return to action in Ryman Division One South this weekend boosted by the return of a host of names.

After the 3-0 defeat at leaders Peacehaven & Telscombe on January 4, the Tanners’ only outing was a 3-1 Surrey Senior Cup win at Camberley Town on Tuesday night.

The win came despite Brady fielding a host of academy players, but he has his full quota back for this weekend’s trip to Worthing, as they try to close the gap on the leaders.

“We’ll have Dan Parkinson, Jerry Nnamani, Kev Terry, Tom Bradbrook, Deren Ibrahim and Leroy Griffiths back.

“We’re 11 points behind Peacehaven, and it is a shame we have played them twice already.

“But we have a game in hand and we are still fighting in this league. It is all we can do.”

Meanwhile, the Tanners are holding a special night of music to raise money for the club’s flood repair fund.

Playing on January 31 in the Fetcham Grove clubhouse will be a host of bands including WitchDokters and MoCara.

Tickets should be ordered in advance from David Pope on 07500 118005.
