Alan Dowson believes midfielder Steve Laidler is the man behind Kingstonian’s Ryman Premier League play-off charge.
The former Farnborough man moved to Kingsmeadow for a nominal fee in March and is yet to finish on the losing side for his new club.
Ks have won four and drawn five of the games in which he has featured and they have conceded just two goals in the process.
“Steve is in the top two of the best signings I have made,” said the manager.
“He has given us that boost just when we have needed it and his arrival has been money well spent.
“He passed the ball intelligently and is a ball winner. His work rate and desire to win is second to none.”
