Palace Pulis promises the pedal to the metal against Manchester City
Despite being safe, Crystal Palace will not be taking their foot off the Premier League pedal, says boss Tony Pulis.
Palace can have a say in where the title goes as they host Manchester City this afternoon in the penultimate game of the season at Selhurst Park, with Liverpool still to come on May 5.
They can also have a say in who goes down when they end the season with a trip to Fulham on May 11.
Pulis said: “We have a responsibility to the Premier League and the teams at the top and bottom that we will give it our best shot.
“We have two very tough games coming up at home, and I am just relieved that we are safe from relegation.
“Going to Craven Cottage will not be easy as they could be still in with a shout of getting out of the bottom three, and the teams around them will be expecting us to put in a shift.”
He added: “It is also important that we do not let up for the supporters – they have been fantastic all season and they deserve our best.”
Marouane Chamakh and Kagisho Dikgacoi face late fitness tests ahead of today’s visit of Manchester City.
