Bookmakers have slashed odds on Tony Pulis making an shock comeback as Crystal Palace manager.

Betting websites have installed Pulis as third favourite for the job he left just a week ago, with some rating him second favourite.

Betfred and William Hill are both offering odds of 4/1 on the former Stoke City boss returning to Selhurst Park, while Ladbrokes and Paddy Power rate him 5/1.

Neil Lennon remains favourite for the job after Palace pulled the plug on the appointment of Malky Mackay following the emergence of allegations of racist, homophobic and sexists messages exchanged between the former Cardiff City boss and the Eagles' departing sporting director Iain Moody.

Caretaker boss Keith Millen is to remain in charge for West Ham's visit to Selhurst Park tomorrow.

Parish & Pulis should get together, iron out their differences and work together for the sake of the club. Millen is a safe pair of hands and I am sure he would remain Pulis's no 2. Being what we have seen this week, Parish should take the 'bull by the horns' and at least contact Pulis.

I really think Pulis is still the best man for the job, look at what he has achieved, I think he fits into Palace and if given the players he wants then we will do well. Parish is playing lotto with anyone else out they're and could end in tears end of season.

Just look at the Malky and Moody fiasco, if that had been mid season we would have been done for results wise as players morale would have plummeted.

Going back to my previous comment earlier, I think we will do a lot better with Pulis and without Moody getting in the way.

Looking forward to another season with Crystal Pulis and Crystal Parish, as I can't see any other relationship that will work.

They fit together like a married couple, even those names fit into the club. If all else fails Crystal Millen sounds like it could continue whats already in place.

HolmesdaleEnd what of the chances of Parish appointing another Technical Director, or do you think he won't bother for the sake of keeping Pulis, thats if he comes back of course?

Mr Parrish should sort it out with Tony Pulis and get him back ASAP. This weeks alternatives show his relative value better to say the least. If the relationship is salvageable, a bit of grovelling is in everyone's best interests.
The players need systems and discipline that TP provides to channel the hard work they give, and Campbell and Hangeland and Kelly should improve the team.
Tonight I heard Radio 5 contemplating CPFC as an escape route for Big Sam Allardyce. Nooooooooooooooooo!
