Kingstonian goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey has admitted a Football Association charge of misconduct over his Bognor bust-up at Kingsmeadow.

The 27-year-old climbed into the stand to tussle with a Bognor Regis Town fan after his side’s 2-1 defeat to the Rocks in February.

Footage of the incident has been viewed close to 300,000 times on the internet.

“The charge is in relation to an alleged breach of FA Rule E3,” said an FA spokesman.

“It is alleged Mr Tolfrey’s behaviour after the end of the fixture – in that he entered the stand and confronted a spectator – amounts to improper conduct.

“Tolfrey admitted the charge and requested a non-personal hearing, the date of which will be set in due course.”

Four goals in two games from Kingstonian striker Pelayo Pico Gomez has kept his side in the race for the Ryman Premier League play-off race.

Pico Gomez struck twice in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Peacehaven & Telscombe, with returning loan striker Charlie Penny adding the third.

The Spaniard bagged a second double in Monday’s 2-0 win at Billericay Town, a match which featured a 29th minute red card for Malachi Hudson.
