Neal Ardley fully expects Sammy Moore to enter the realms of legendary status at AFC Wimbledon.
Midfielder Moore has left the CRRS after coming to a “joint decision” with the boss, ending a five-year spell at the club that began in the Conference Premier.
Ardley said: “There are many players I see being invited back to the club and classed as legends and Sammy is one of them.
“He is in there with the [Danny] Kedwells and [Jon] Mains as people who have had a massive influence on the club.”
No move for Goodman on the cards, says Ardley

He added: “I knew his mindset was ‘I need to get out, I need to play regularly and enjoy my football again’.
“Sammy had not been getting in the team at the end of last season, and there was a chance he will be disappointed again unless something changed.
“I did not want that, not with what Sammy and his family have been through over the past couple of months.
“We had a real big hug and it was emotional. I saw a lot of the great tweets and rightly so. What a fantastic boy he is.”
