Frustration is the word to describe the Wrexham game, with Paul Doswell’s men dominating the game from start to finish yet somehow ending up going home with nothing.

It’s a result that’s particularly hard to take given that we hit the bar and post, and had one cleared off the line as well as forcing the Wrexham keeper into a few decent saves.

Despite the result, I think confidence in the side has to remain high – there’s some excellent football being played at times and more often than not the result will come.

It would be wrong to completely ignore the issue of the lack of goals at the moment of course, but I imagine it’s a confidence thing more than anything else; once Fitchett and Dickson get their first goals in the National League the floodgates should open a bit.

Braintree on Tuesday night looks to be an important game, with The Iron struggling towards the bottom of the table so far.

United have been strong at home so far this season and should be looking for all three points, though must be wary of the counter attack and indeed set pieces, which undid United on the opening day against Solihull.

Looking a bit further ahead, it will be great to be featured live on BT Sport at the weekend, and wouldn’t it be even sweeter if we upset Tranmere in front of a national TV audience?

The opportunity is there for locals who have never really considered the club to see us live on a major TV channel and think "Oh they’re alright actually, maybe I should go down and watch them myself."

Let’s hope it’s a memorable occasion made even better with three points.
