Brentford continue to fly high in the Championship, with a fifth consecutive win taking them third after this 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Griffin Park on Saturday, writes Simon Webster.

After surviving an early claim for a Wolves goal, the Bees took a one goal lead into the break and put the gloss on a fine performance with two goals in the closing ten minutes.

In the end, it was a dominant win over the team, which was the only one to finish above the Bees in League One last season.

Wolves saw strong claims to take the lead turned down when Danny Graham's header bounced off the bar and down on the goal-line, but the officials waved away their claims as the ball was scrambled clear by the Bees.

Approaching the half hour mark a lovely goal from man of the match Alan Judge saw Jon Toral find space on the left, before passing to Judge, whose cool finish gave Carl Ikeme no chance.

Shortly after Andre Gray broke from the half way line, eventually seeing his cross from the left fizz across the goal.

Early in the second half Judge found himself in a good position, only to see a defender stick out a leg to deflect his shot wide.

At the other end Rajiv van la Parra came close when his cross from the right just evaded everyone in the six yard box.

The Bees got the decisive second goal when Alex Pritchard broke down the right, and after some neat build up play, substitute Stuart Dallas fired home.

An electrifying burst by Gray across Wolves' box saw him create space to fire a wonderful strike into the left hand corner of the net with eight minutes remaining.

The icing on a fine performance was supplied by substitute Jota, only on the pitch a matter of minutes, when he picked up the ball on the right and fired home from a tight angle.
