Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew could solve his goals problems by signing a striker who is not scoring goals - says Sky Sports latest gossip talk.

Palace have failed to score a Premier League goal in five outings, and have picked up only two points in that time.

But where the likes of Connor Wickham, Bakary Sako, Fraizer Campbell and Marouane Chamakh have failed, striker Gregoire Defrel is, according to Sky Sports, could succeed.

The 24-year-old French has made 11 appearances for Italian Serie A side Sassuolo this season, scoring just two goals.

Prior to that, Defrel made 106 appearances for Cessna scoring 16 goals.
