Pardew reveals interest in Chelsea man – report

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has revealed he will try to sign John Terry when he leaves Chelsea at the end of the season.

Terry, 35, announced following the 5-1 victory against MK Dons that the Blues would not be offering him a new contract.

The ex-England defender, who has been at Chelsea since the age of 14, will have plenty of admirers in the summer and Pardew says he will enquire about a move.

Veteran stopper to stay – report

Veteran goalkeeper Julian Speroni will not be leaving the Eagles on transfer deadline day.

The stopper, who has been at Selhurst Park since 2004 and has played over 400 games for the club, has been linked with several Championship clubs.

However, Pardew has confirmed that the club legend will be staying at Palace for the time being.

McCarthy loan talks ongoing – report

Palace are in talks with at least two clubs about a loan switch for goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.

The former QPR star was Pardew’s first-choice stopper at the start of the season but Wales international Wayne Hennessey has forced his way into the side and impressed.

With the prospect of first-team football appearing bleak, Pardew has admitted that the Eagles are in talks with two clubs over a loan deal.
