Alan Pardew has one aim today, to take another step towards securing Premier League safety.
Crystal Palace go to Arsenal knowing that three points would all-but seal their safety, although the Gunners will want the points to keep the pressure on Leicester City.
The mid-week point against Everton came on the back of the 1-0 win over Norwich City, which ended a barren 14-match run without a victory.
Jason Puncheon hit the all-important goal, and he came in for special praise from Pardew ahead of Arsenal.
He said: “Jason is a Premier League player. He’s got a lot of experience and has that gift of being able to travel with the ball, just like an Arsenal player.
“There's a bit more of a bounce in our step recently, and since the West Brom game our performances have been good.
“Sunday is all about securing safety.”
