The agent of Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar is flying to England amid interest from several Premier League clubs, according to Italian reports.

Babacar only made 24 appearances for the Italian club last season and is said to be considering a move away to further his career.

Crystal Palace, Southampton and Leicester City have all been linked with the 23-year-old, while Middlesbrough are also thought to be interested in securing his services.

Tuttomercatoweb – via Football Italia – say Babacar’s agent, Patrick Bastianelli, is on his way to England to hold talks with top-flight clubs.

Premier League new-boys Boro are in the market for attacking reinforcements and are also understood to have joined the race to sign Robin van Persie this summer.
