Crystal Palace’s young stars Keshi Anderson and Luke Dreher are both top players, according to Jonny Williams.

Dreher played a lofted ball to set up Anderson for Palace’s only goal in their 3-1 pre-season defeat to Fulham on Saturday.

The duo, along with Williams, came on as second-half substitutes and brought the Eagles back into the game after a sluggish start.

And Williams, who came through Palace’s academy himself, believes both his young team-mates showed their capabilities.

“I’m delighted for both of them,” said Williams. “They’ve worked really hard in training and they’re both top players.

“I think they’ll do well.

“Luke’s very young and Keshi’s shown it in League One for Doncaster as well.”

Williams reserved special praise for Dreher, 17, who again produced a good performance to add to his goal against Dulwich Hamlet last week.

The Palace under-18s player of the year is already showing signs he is playing at a more advanced level, according to Williams.

“I watched Luke against Dulwich and he was fantastic, he looked years above the way he played and I’m really impressed by him,” he added.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do, if he carries on he’ll have a great future.”
