PETERBOROUGH UNITED 1 v 1 CRYSTAL PALACE

Email your opinions on all things Palace to me, Graham Moody, at gmoody@london.newsquest.co.uk, during the game and see them appear below.

FULL TIME: Another point for Palace but they would have been hoping for mroe today. A lot of the players looked tired and they could do with this two-week break now. See you for Scunthorpe on September 12.

94 min: Great blocks from Derry and Lawrence keep Posh at bay.

90 min: Four minutes added on. Can Palace hold out?

89 min: YELLOW CARD. C Lee booked for a tackle on Smith. Butterfield launches it forward but Posh clear.

85 min: C Lee straight into the action heading Couts corner over.

85 min: SUB: Williams off, Charlie Lee on for Posh.

80 min: Ooh. Smith has a bit of a run and shot and it trickles just the wrong side of the post.

78 min: Palace stretched defending a corner and Zakuani heads over at the back post. It's going to be a long 12 minutes.

75 min: SUB: Sears off, Lawrence on. So much for 4-4-2.

74 min: RED CARD. McCarthy may have just lost Palace this game as he fouls Mackail-Smith for the upteenth time and receives his second yellow card. He's struggled all game.

72 min: ooh Palace get away with that a little bit as Rowe set up Mackail-Smith but his cross goes right across goal. Palace are 4-4-2 with Smith and Moses wide, Sears up with Lee. Scannell getting ready.

69 min: SUB: Butt off, Rowe on.

69 min: DOUBLE SUB: N'Diaye and Ambrose off, Moses and Smith on. I say this every time Victor plays but could this be the last we see of him?

66 min: SUB: Diagouraga off, Coutts on. Palace were getting Moses ready before the goal but he's sat back down now. The players celebrated that strike like they had just won the cup.

63 min: GOAL! Lee levels matters so what do I know! Ambrose's corner is headed back across goal by Hill for McCarthy. He heads it towards goal and the ball flicks off Lee's leg and in.

60 min: Good work from Fonte chasing a lost ball almost sets up Ambrose but for a decent tackle from Morgan. Palace need to make a change. The only way they will score at the minute is some sort of scramble.

56 min: Warnock won't be happy at that goal, was far too easy. Butterfield gets some space for a cross and Lee forces a decent, if not too hard, save from Lewis.

53 min: GOAL! Posh go ahead and we might get some life in this game now. Butt cuts inside Hill quite easily and fires left footed into the bottom corner. Now let's see if Palace can respond.

53 min: YELLOW CARD. Boyd can't get past Fonte who emerges with the ball before being hacked down by the Boro forward who gets a booking for his troubles.

52 min: Well it hasn't got any better. Palace have had a fair bit of possession but done nothng with it. N'Diaye looks very tired today.

46 min: Palace get us under way again and there are no changes. The sandwiches came to me by the way and there were plenty of them so that was nice and makes up somewhat for the restricted view.

HALF TIME: Well that wasn't the best half of football I have ever seen. Palace in desperate need of a spark they've been incredibly quiet today. I'm off to get some promised sandwiches from somewhere around here...

44 min: Warnock has a nice rant at the ref there and outcomes the Neil Warnock is a .... chant. I think his players might get a similar rant at half time.

40 min: McCarthy's in trouble here as he blatantly pulls Mclean back. The ref gives him a talking to but nothing more. Somehow I think that's his last chacne.

37 min: ooh here's some action. Batt skips past Hill and provides an excellent cross that Fonte does well to head behind. From the corner Mackail-Smith eventually has a shot that Speroni saves. I wonder if that will spark Palace into life.

34 min: McCarthy gives away another free kick which Boyd scuffs towards goal and Palace just about clear. This game desperately needs a goal if only to stop me falling asleep.

30 min: N'Diaye, who has been quiet so far, earns a corner with some lovely trickery. Mclean heads clear ahead of McCarthy before Ambrose puts it in again and Danns volleys over at a stretch. Was a half chance. It's very quiet here.

25 min: YELLOW CARD. McCarthy goes in the book after mistiming his tackle on Mclean 20 yards out. Williams tries to curl the free kick with his left foot but that sails harmlessly over.

21 min: The tempo Palace showed against Man City has well and truly gone and we're going for long balls quite a bit again. Lee gets his head to one but it goes well wide. A minute later he fashions himself a chance and curls one form the edge of the box. It's goes wide but was a little closer than the header.

16 min: Palace haven't really got going yet and both sides are giving the ball away a fair bit. Not the best advert for the Championship in front of the Sky cameras.

11 min: Williams puts in another super cross and Hill does just about enough to stop Batt getting his head to it. Martin then gets to the byline by nutmegging Derry but N'Diaye gets across to block. From the corner the ref spots a foul. Posh have started well.

8 min: Lee's already had a few good tussles with Zakuani and earns a free kick in a promising position here that Ambrose surprisingly shoots from and forces a decent save from Lewis. First shot for Palace.

3 min: Two half chances for Posh as first Fonte clears Williams' cross and then Speroni punches Frecklington's corner out from under his own bar.

1 min: Peterborough get us off and under way and immediately go for the corner I can't see. Was surprised to see Clyne left out today after his good showing against Robinho.

5.14pm: Right the players are out and I severely hope the guy in front of me sits down or I might as well go and watch this in the pub as well. Palace fans are off to my left in one of two good old-fashioned terraces. That's the only thing I like about this place so far. Hopefully the match will improve my mood.

5.10pm: Peterborough United: Joe Lewis, Russell Martin, Tom Williams, Craig Morgan, Gabriel Zakuani, Lee Frecklington, Aaron Mclean, George Boyd, Craig Mackhail-Smith, Toumani Diagouraga, Shaun Batt. Subs: Charlie Lee, Paul Coutts, Dean Keates, James McKeown, Tommy Rowe, Krystian Pearce, Dominic Green.

Crystal Palace: Julian Speroni, Danny Butterfield, Paddy McCarthy, Jose Fonte, Clint Hill, Shaun Derry, Alassane N'Diaye, Neil Danns, Freddie Sears, Alan Lee, Darren Ambrose. Subs: Nathanial Clyne, Nick Carle, Victor Moses, Darryl Flahavan, Shaun Scannell, Matt Lawrence, Ryan Smith.

5.05pm: Team news and Warncok makes two changes to the side that put up such a spirited performance against Manchester City. Victor Moses and Nathanial Clyne drop to the bench despite good showings that night and in come Danny Butterfield and Alan Lee.

5pm: Hello and welcome to this afternoon's game at London Road. I'm finally in place after some car parking, ticket, seat (if there is any action in the corner flag to my right don't expect to hear about it from me because I can't see if from here!) and computer problems and raring to go. I hope you are too if you haven't popped down the local boozer to see Palace on TV for the second time in five days.
