Kingstonian have launched an appeal for witnesses as they investigate goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey's meltdown at Kingsmeadow on Monday night.

Long standing Ks number one Tolfrey climbed in to the crowd to confront away fans at the end of his side's 2-1 Ryman Premier League defeat to Bognor Regis Town, sparking ugly scenes on the terraces.

Kingstonian and Bognor officials have launched an investigation with its findings to be reported to the Football Association by Tuesday next week.

The Ryman League have confirmed the matter is in the hands of the FA and will take the lead from the game's governing body once the discplinary process has run its course.

Club secretary Karen Muir has invited any people who saw the incident to contact her in the strictest confidence.

"We are in the middle of a full investigation on behalf of Kingstonian FC into the incident, as are Bognor Regis FC," she said.

"Obviously, any charges levied will be dealt with accordingly by the club and the FA.  A full report will be provided to the FA once this investigation is complete."
