Hampton & Richmond Borough pair Nicke Kabamba and Jamal Lowe will not be with the Beavers much beyond 2016, despite signing one-year contracts with the club this week.

Former Hamel Hempstead Town striker Kabamba, 22, was the club's leading Ryman Premier League scorer with 18 goals last term, while Lowe, 21, netted 15 times in 28 appearances since following Kabamba to the Beveree from the Tudors in November.

The pair are two of eight players boss Alan Dowson has tied down for next season's National League South campaign after this terms title-winning exploits.

Captain Kieran Murphy, Leon Solomon, Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick, Josh Casey and Tom Jelley have all agreed terms for next season with Dowson also offering a deal to academy midfielder Charlie Ten-Grotenhuis.

But the Hampton chief is fully expecting to need to replace Lowe and Kabamba at some stage next term, providing they continue to show the sort of form that took the beavers to the Ryman Premier League title.

"Nicke and Jamal have been fantastic for us this year," he said.

"I'm delighted to have tied them to contracts because they are still young and can still improve.

"If they keep playing as they have, I'm telling you now that they will be gone before Christmas and they will go for big money."

With Charlie Mooney and Moussa Diarra already departed, Dowson expects more to follow them out of the exit door before the start of the campaign.

And the former Ks boss paid tribute to his former frontman, who was forced out due to the form of Kabamba.

"Charlie has been a great servant to the club - a real pro - and he wants to play football," he added.

"We had a chat about next season and with Nicke signing a contract, he understands where he is.

"He is too good to be sitting on the bench, so is looking for a new challenge. It was all very amicable."
