Hill joins GB's men's eight squad

Putney’s Phelan Hill is in line for an Olympic place after being named in the Great Britain squad for next month’s rowing World Cup.
Hill has retained his seat as cox in the men’s eight for the event in Belgrade, which takes place on May 4.
Although the squad for the world cup is confirmation of the Olympic squad, it is an indication as to what the final team will be.
Hill, a special advisor for HM Treasury, helped the eight win World silver in 2010 and 2011.
