Harlequins back row Luke Wallace could be in for a busy summer should history repeat itself after cleaning up at the club's awards dinner in Fulham on Tuesday night .

The 25-year-old openside claimed the adidas supporters’ player of the season, IG players’ player of the season and DHL player of the season gongs at the gala dinner at the Hurlingham Club.

The Nick Duncombe young player of the season award was given to centre Harry Sloan, while Ollie Lindsay-Hague picking up Greene King IPA try of the season for his score against Montpellier in round one of the European Rugby Challenge Cup.

Quins' hopes of being involved in the Premiership pay-offs are fading after Sunday's 22-12 defeat to Saracens at Wembley as they are nine points adrift of fourth place with two games to play.

Wallace could therefore be among the leading candidates to feature in an England squad to take on Wales at Twickenham on May 29 - the day after the Premiership final.

Clubmate and England international Jack Clifford won three awards at the club dinner last year and went on to make a try-scoring international debut against the Barbarians last summer.

Wallace has been in outstanding form all season and has appeared in 17 of Quins' 20 Premiership clashes so far this term, scoring two tries.

England head to Australia in June for a three Test series, while the Saxons will be heading to South Africa for two matches.

Quins' Chris Robshaw and Clifford could also feature in the touring party provided they maintain the form that helped England claim a Six Nations Grand Slam.

Head coach Eddie Jones will name his touring party towards the end of next month.
