London Scottish have made six changes to their starting XV for their season finale against Rotherham Titans at Clifton Lane this weekend.

Both sides are battling it out to secure a top six finish and with the Titans just two points ahead of Scottish in the table.

Saturday will see a first RFU Championship start for flanker Tommy Spinks, who starts at openside alongside Ben Russell at blindside and skipper Mark Bright at number eight.

Spinks, a Scotland U20s international, is promoted to the starting line-up after an impressive cameo off the bench in last week's game against Bristol.

Elsewhere, dual-registered Harlequins duo Nic Mayhew and Harry Allen come into the front row alongside Eric Fry, with Sam Twomey partnering Tyler Hotson in the second row.

PJ Gidlow is recalled at inside centre in place of Andy Reay, who was taken off injured during the match against Bristol.

Jamie Stevenson and Phil Godman reprise their half back combination and there is a familiar looking back three of Miles Mantella, James Love and Jim Thompson.

Onto the replacements bench comes Gerard Ellis, a loan signing from London Irish who will provide cover at hooker.

Joe Trayfoot also returns for Scottish having recently earned his first Aviva Premiership start for parent club Harlequins.

There is also a slot for winger David Howells, as Scottish opt for a five forwards and two backs split on the bench.

A win for Scottish will take them above Rotherham in the table, while a bonus point win and a defeat for Cornish Pirates at home to Jersey will take them into sixth place.

Should they lose, Scottish can finish no lower than their current eighth place.
