Former England hooker Andy Titterrell has warned the Championship that London Welsh are far from the finished article.
The Dragons secured an opening day 24-13 win over Bedford on Saturday, to go some way to erasing the memory of relegation from the Premierhip last season.
Titterrell only switched to Old Deer Park in the summer from Edinburgh and he likes what he sees.
“It’s always encouraging to get your first game out of the way and to get a win. That was our main objective but from the signs we showed on the pitch, there’s obviously plenty more to come,” said Titterrell, a tourist with the British & Irish Lions in 2005.
“That’s an encouraging sign – knowing that we’re a long way off being a complete side. But it’s been back to the drawing board this week with Nottingham on Sunday posing different threats.”
