Steve Hill knows tomorrow's top of the table clash at Old Albanians will be a big test of Richmond's title credentials.

Director of rugby Hill saw his side's lead at the top of National League Two South extended to nine points last weekend after they brushed past Taunton 53-14 at The Athletic Ground and Albanians defeated previous second-placed Hartbury College to move into the runners-up spot.

The St Albans-based team are on a roll of nine straight wins but did lose 42-20 at Richmond in October, and Hill is expecting fireworks.

"Tomorrow at Albanians is now huge," he said.

"They are on a roll having beaten Henley and Hartbury away from home so going there and getting a result is going to be a tremendous challenge."

Will Browne scored two tries and Tom Platt, James Brooks, Will Warden, Dave Burr, Duncan Peters and Tom Drewe one each as Richmond eased past Taunton.

"This performance was a significant improvement on last week," added Hill "Our support play was excellent and constantly challenged the opposition defence.

"We also took our opportunities much more clinically."
