Fisheye lenses produce striking rounded and intriguingly distorted images. Sadly, they also cost a heck of a lot and, for best results, you need to be using them on a similarly expensive camera.
However, you can get a relatively cheap device called a semi-fisheye converter to screw onto your camera's standard lens and experience some of the fun.
Since my camera is not an expensive "full frame" model, I lose the top and bottom of the circle. However, the remaining 80 per cent of the image can still deliver a wow-factor...
