I was hoping I might get a glimpse of a moonrise over Croydon today. Sadly, the clouds put paid to that plan so I set my sights on the lights of the city instead. Trying to get the distant light points in focus and with no trace of camera shake is quite a challenge - even with a tripod - but I managed to get one usable shot. The Shard is over on the right and if you look carefully on the left you can see the dome of St Paul's. Maybe there will be a glimpse of the moon tomorrow...
