Three easy ways to get involved with Growhampton right now!

Spring Sessions – Every Wednesday afternoon 2-4pm.

These are practical, hands-on sessions where you can learn how to grow. We will plant seeds, pot plants, dig soil, make compost and do all things growing related. We meet out the front of Lawrence Building at the University at 2pm. This session is free and drop in-drop out, so if you need to leave early or come late it’s no problem at all.

Market Day Harvest – Every Thursday morning 10-1pm.

This is our existing harvest morning where we pick and pack the fresh salad greens and delicious vegetables to sell at our weekly market day. We also meet out the front of Lawrence Building at 10am. This session is drop in-drop out, so if you need to leave early or come late that's fine.

Market Day Hour – Eat real food

Call me crazy if you must, but I love all things growing; but hey, it’s perfectly fine if you really aren’t that interested in learning how to grow your own veg or harvest them. Surely though, you must like to eat? Food is at the heart of who we are and what we do, so quite simply, by coming along to market day and purchasing yourself a bag of our most delicious salad mix, stir fry blend or ‘to die for’ beetroots; you are supporting our work, helping the environment and feeding your body the freshest, tastiest and healthiest greens around.

Bags of our ultra-local, super fresh greens are only 50p for a single portion or £1 for a 2-3 portion bag. Come and try for yourself what real vegetables taste like and bring a friend too! The market day hour happens every Thursday in Digby Square from 1-2pm. We also have a beautiful fresh bread stall and thrift shop happening every week and of course our award winning Hive Café is open for lunch.

So there it is – getting involved with Growhampton couldn’t be easier this season.
