I sympathize strongly with Wendy Barclay regarding the relentless development of high-rise buildings in Wandsworth.
If you have no garden or outdoor space and your only view from the window is another high-rise building, life can be pretty grim.
Only last year Wandsworth Council closed down the few existing adventure playgrounds, leaving young people with nowhere to relax and play in a safe environment in school holidays and after school.
Our elected representatives and public servants need to think again about what constitutes a good quality of life and put more effort into delivering housing and recreation facilities which go some way to delivering this.
