How long do the residents of the 1960s Patmore Estate have to wait, before its their turn for a major redevelopment facelift?

As with last week’s article about lack of healthcare access for the most deprived in that part of the Queenstown Ward, in years to come.

Then plans must be put squarely on the table from the new incoming Head of Housing at Wandsworth Council.

The Patmore is Wandsworth's most valuable jewel within it historic sited social housing estates.

Will we see it become another trade off like what has happened with the Aylesbury Estate in Southwark? A mixed funded project, bring benefits of more luxury flats and social rented apartments.

Can, in time a New Ward Phoenix, be the East Queenstown Ward. Resplendent with modern, comfortable surrounding with easy desirable access to the tube.

An Estate, council Tennent put their names down for to relocate into and not the other way round.

Where another bus serves those children who get a place to attend the new Bolingbroke Academy. Lifting out of poverty, that next generation of London kids.

Mr. David w. Evans
