Letter to the Editor: Coins not for parking
Drivers beware of coming to Wandsworth in a hurry with a purse or pocket of coins as you will find you need a credit or debit card and a mobile phone to park in a pay and display area.
I have not seen it published yet, but I have made the mistake of going shopping in Clapham Junction with my purse and finding I could not park as I did not have my phone or cash card, so I had to go home.
