Local Putney Mum's were invited to The Putney Exchange on Tuesday to listen to some top business advice from MBE, founder and Managing Director of Jo Jo Maman Bebe, Laura Tenison.
In residence to celebrate the new look Jo Jo Maman Bebe store and official opening of the new VIP-style baby care suite, Laura was happy to spend a morning at the centre imparting her practical business tips to Putney mums.
Referencing her meteoric rise to the top, she talked about the benefits of running her own business and what constitutes success, but was realistic and honest too - citing juggling career and family life as a constant battle in her role as MD. The mum’s in attendance came armed with their questions and used the opportunity to quiz Laura about their business ideas, as well as learning more about how she runs the popular Jo Jo brand which now has 56 stores across the UK and Ireland.
Centre Manager, Anne Partridge was on hand to introduce Laura to the audience and spent time with the attendees to showcase the new state of the art baby care suite – one of the first important milestones in the new look Exchange that is set to transform the shopping experience for Putney locals.
Commenting on the new facility, Anne Partridge said “We have worked hard to create a relaxed environment for nursing mums and believe this will make a real difference to the overall shopping experience for local families. We spent many months consulting with local parents researching what was most important to them when shopping with young families and we have responded to that with a beautifully bespoke designed baby care suite that is truly exceptional and we believe will deliver a superior customer experience”.
Following the event, the mums in attendance were treated to a variety of offers throughout the centre – from free mini muffins at BB’s to discounts at Office shoes, One Small Step One Giant Leap and ToyStop.
The new Jo Jo Maman Bebe store and baby care suite is now officially open to the public.
