On another cold and miserable Sunday morning Banter FC turned up the heat again giving the fans something to celebrate with a 4-0 win over Inter Sutton. After a slow start Banter FC's equivalent to Mesut Ozil, Bas Morally with a good run down the right crossed the ball across box setting up Ricky Burgess for his first of the match. With this goal not coming long before half time Banter came off 1-0 up and hungry for more which was evident by their improvement at the start of the second half. With some good passing moves from Jack Evans and Daryl Chesters in midfield starting to frustrate the other team it was not long before they got a second. This coming from a cross by Jack Hart being turned in at the back post by Aaron Gaughan. The moment of the match came however when Jack Evans got the ball in the opponents box and following some silky footwork won a penalty. Ricky Burgess, Banters top goalscorer stepped forward and chipped the keeper to put the ball in the back of the net. The fourth came not long after when the ever hard working Marcus Jarvis found some space and stroked the ball home to make it another convincing win for Banter FC. Special mention must also be given to Banters rock solid back three,Charlie Renton (C), Dylan Merchant and Banter's Aaron BG for a convincing clean sheet. All in all a great day for Banter who will carry their recent form into their match against their rivals Dara FC next week.
