Thousands of rubber ducks will be bobbing along the Thames as part of a charity world record attempt.
More than 165,000 rubber ducks will be floating along a 1k stretch of the river near Hampton Court Palace on Sunday, September 2, with the first duck over the finish line winning £10,000.
The race is in aid of the Children's Trust and the charity is asking people to go quackers and adopt a duck for £5 - with £3 going to the charity - for the Great British Duck Race.
The Children's Trust is a national charity providing care, education and therapy to children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs.
It is aiming to raise more than £7million to build a national rehabilitation centre for children with acquired brain injuries whether through an accident or illness.
Natalie Sweeden, community fundraiser for the charity, said: "We really hope people get into the spirit of this fun and quirky event and support the Children's Trust by adopting a duck. I'd also like to wish everyone good luck and may the best duck win the £10,000 prize money!"
The race starts at midday. To buy your duck, visit thechildrenstrust.org.uk/duck and click on the link for the Great British Duck Race.
