3. The Order will come into operation on 01 June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out overnight between 10pm and 6am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) Any person or vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14. AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 ST. PETER'S ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works on behalf of Thames Water they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in St. Peter's Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place St. Peter's Road will be closed outside No. 2 St. Peter's Road.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Coombe Road, Lower Coombe Street, the A236, the A235, the B275, St Peters Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 29 May 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in one day between 8am and 10.30am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 STANLEY GROVE. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate cable installation works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Stanley Grove.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, rolling parking suspensions and temporary waiting and loading restrictions operating 'at any time' will be introduced in Stanley Grove.

3. The Order will come into operation on 06 June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 27 June 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further works are required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water service pipe works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Strathyre Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Strathyre Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between its junction with Dalmeny Avenue and the common boundary of Nos. 141 and 143 Strathyre Avenue;

b) The north-western footway of Strathyre Avenue will be closed to pedestrians between its junction with Dalmeny Avenue and the common boundary of Nos. 141 and 143 Strathyre Avenue.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

- Via Dalmeny Avenue, Kilmartin Avenue, Dunbar Avenue, Strathyre Avenue and reversed;

- Via Strathyre Avenue, Norbury Crescent, Ederline Avenue, Dunbar Avenue, Strathyre Avenue and reversed;

- Via Strathyre Avenue, Ardfern Avenue, Kilmartin Avenue, Dalmeny Avenue and reversed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 08 June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) The carriageway of Upton Road will be closed outside No. 19;

(b) The south-western footway of Upton Road will be closed outside No. 19.

3. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be via Burlington Road, Howberry Road, Cranbrook Road, Upton Road and reversed, or via Burlington Road, Penrith Road, Cranbrook Road, Upton Road and reversed. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

5. The Order will come into operation on 07 June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to repair a collapsed sewer they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Waddon Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Waddon Road will be closed outside Nos. 84 to 88 Waddon Road;

b) Parking in the bays opposite Nos. 84 to 88 Waddon Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time on both sides of the road.

3. During the closure the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.

- Northbound: Via Purley Way, Mitcham Road, Roman Way, Reeves Corner and Cairo New Road;

- Northbound (reversed): Via Waddon Road, Rectory Grove, Roman Way, Mitcham Road and Purley Way;

- Southbound: Via Purley Way, Stafford Road, Epsom Road and reversed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 30 May 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 15 June 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14. AS AMENDED. DOYLE ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING


1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Doyle Road, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Doyle Road will be closed at its junction with Portland Road.

b) One-way working in Doyle Road will be suspended and two-way traffic will apply.

c) Parking bays within Doyle Road will be suspended.

3. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion route for traffic will be via Portland Road, Balfour Road, Stanger Road and Clifford Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 12 June 2022 (back-up dates of 19 June or 26 June 2022 may apply if works are delayed) and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) Any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) Any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer connection works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Hollymeoak Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Hollymeoak Road will be closed between the western boundary of No. 17 Hollymeoak Road and the eastern boundary of No. 25 Hollymeoak Road.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for traffic will be via Woodfield Hill and Starrock Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 13 June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 24 June 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

RD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984. SECTION 14. AS AMENDED TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR OR PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AND TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTIONS


1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential highway maintenance works that may take place within the London Borough of Croydon over the next 18 months, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to allow the following measures to be introduced, providing that the relevant permissions have been granted by the Council, in any street listed in the Schedule to this Notice within the Borough for which Croydon Council is the highway authority:

(a) temporarily introduce one-way traffic for the duration of the works in those streets or lengths of streets.

(b) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets.

(c) temporarily close any adjoining streets to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.

(d) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required; and

(e) temporarily suspend bus lanes/stops, cycle lanes, parking bays or any other traffic restriction as required where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.

2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to:

(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles would be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

4. All works requiring a road closure will be advertised complete with any diversion route on our website at the address below. www.croydon.gov.uk/transportandSts/rhps/Rds/Rd.closures/notices

5. Frontages affected by the above restrictions will receive notification letters approximately two weeks before any works commence.

6. The Order will come into operation on the 10 June 2022 and will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. (Access for frontages would be maintained whilst the work proceeds).
