Alesha Dixon has warned Paddy McGuinness he will have a fight on his hands as he takes her on in a rap battle for Text Santa.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge and the Take Me Out host will be presenting part of ITV’s annual telethon charity appeal together.
She said: “You can expect a rap battle which will be quite interesting. Paddy’s going to be out of his comfort zone there. We’re going to kick off with a bang.
“I still rap when I perform, I’m an artist so I’m constantly rehearsing in the studio – Paddy better go and rehearse. He’ll need to.”
The former Mis-Teeq star revealed she and Paddy will be hosting Text Santa from 11pm in a couple of weeks time and she is looking forward to the freedom of the late night slot.
She said: “We’re co-hosting the third hour, hopefully it will be a bit more of a cheeky hour.
“Paddy and I have worked together before, we’ve got a great relationship. I love the fact he is funny, witty and unpredictable.
“But at the heart of it this is a really, really important show, with the intention of raising lots and lots of money for six very, very worthy charities.
“I’m hoping by the end of the night it will be a huge success and we’ll have raised lots and lots of money, which is the whole point.”
