A new film festival will take place in SW London. The four day festival (SWIFF) will take place from 29 November - 2 December 2012 in various venues around Colliers Wood and Tooting.

The festival offers independent filmmakers and photographers from around the globe the opportunity to have their work seen by award-winning judges, fellow filmmakers and a broad public audience.

Huianu, the SWIFF Director says, "The festival will provide a great opportunity to see lots of movies made by up-and-coming local film directors as well as renowned international names. It aims to create a feel good atmosphere for the entire community and to encourage creativity and the participation of all age groups."

The Festival has received films from over 25 different countries in the following categories: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental, Under 16s and Still-moving-image.
