A pedestrian killed after being struck by a lorry outside Balham Station two weeks ago has been named.
Somalian national Osman Awees, 34, was killed instantly after being struck by the heavy goods vehicle in Balham High Road just after 4pm on January 17.
An inquest for Mr Awees, from Abercain Road in Streatham, was held on January 21 at Westminster Coroners Court.
A post-mortem examination prior to the inquest gave the cause of death as multiple injuries.
The incident was witnessed by a number of other pedestrian, some of whom required treatment for shock.
The lorry driver stopped at the scene, but no arrests have been made.
