Imagine if another country decided that Britain had a suspect living here that they deemed a danger to them?

Can you imagine if that same country decided to then assassinate that suspect, while that person was living here - with a missile?

Welcome to the world of drones.

Apart from the fact that drones technology has moved so fast that the legislation hasn't yet caught up with it, it is now turning war, that should be an absolute last resort, into something far more acceptable.

Is the Ministry Of Defence (formerly The War Department) saying that we should only undertake combat if the odds are heavily stacked in our favour?

One of the myths that we're told is that British drones shouldn't be mixed up with the American programme.

This is basically claiming the they can be trusted, and that our military are somehow more righteous than every other nation.

So why have we launched over 350 drone attacks already in Afghanistan - a sovereign country that didn't attack us, nor have we declared war against?

Since the so-called War On Terror began, we have become far less safe.

And thanks to Britain and America's subsequent military exploits, we are despised in many countries, especially Pakistan, which has been the most attacked country when it comes to U.S. drones.

If we want to stop terrorism, then we should stop participating in it.
