Police are investigating after one of their marked cars collided with a motorcyclist
The incident took place at the junction of Clapham Common Southside and Rookery Road at 7.20am yesterday.
The 50-year-old motorcyclist was taken to St George's Hospital with an ankle injury.
Witness, Craig Burnett, said: "The motorbike headed out up the side road.
"He got thrown into air. When I got a bit closer I saw him lying on the road."
A spokesman for the police said the incident was being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Traffic Incident.
