A larger-than-life construction worker was on hand to give pupils a guided tour of a building site to the rear of their school.
Youngsters donned hard hats and high-vis jackets while touring the site located at the back of their school in Tooting Primary School, Franciscan Road, Tooting.
The four and five-year-olds have been learning about making things.
A project last half term saw the 63 pupils learn about different materials, how to lift things and how strong materials can be.
Contractors Higgins is building a care home on the site and the company’s mascot made a special appearance to conduct the tour for the kids.
