This volunteers week (June 1-7), our charity Leonard Cheshire Disability wants to send a special thank you to all our amazing volunteers who give their time so selflessly to help disabled people.
I also want to use it as an opportunity to invite new volunteers to join us. From care homes to campaigning, we support disabled people to live the life they choose.
As our volunteer you will have fun, meet new people and make a difference to the life of a disabled person.
It can give you valuable work experience, or the opportunity to share activities you are passionate about such as gardening, driving or using a computer.
Whatever your background or skills, or the amount of time you can give, we have a volunteering opportunity for you.
