Volunteers from Balham spent the weekend collecting clothes, shoes and blankents ready to send to refugees in the camps across Europe.

The collection took place at the ReStore Base Community Centre throughout the day on Saturday and those running the event said they were pleased with the outcome.
Naomi Westland, one of the organisers, said: "The response from the local community was fantastic.
"We collected way more than we expected we would, and we are now hiring an extra van to take everything over to Calais on Saturday.
"So many people came along to help, it was real community spirit in action and showed that people in Wandsworth really care about the appalling conditions refugees and migrants are living in just across the Channel.
"We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative, their generosity will make a big difference to people who really need help, especially as the weather gets colder."

The items will be taken to Calais and Dunkirk this weekend.
