More than 20 people have been prosecuted for 72 offences of misusing blue badges in Wandsworth, according to council statistics.

Wandsworth Council has led 111 investigations into suspected misuse of blue badges and residents permits, and successfully prosecuted 23 people, bringing in £36,000 in fines.
A council report stated the majority of offences are committed by commuters, either driving to their place of work or to a major transport hub.
There are 80 cases ongoing, and 21 prosecutions pending.
The statistics cover the beginning of April to the end of October last year.
