A new headteacher will be joining St Mary’s Hampton CofE Primary School in April.
Matt White, current deputy head of Esher Church School, will start the role on April 18.
The governors of in Richmond's St Mary’s have issued this sentiment: "The governors are now delighted to be able to announce the successful appointment of Matt White as headteacher of St Mary’s Hampton CofE Primary School, with effect from April 18.
"Mr White is currently an experienced deputy head of Esher Church School, a school constantly rated outstanding by Ofsted and recently converted to academy status.
"Mr White visited recently ahead of his start date and took the opportunity to spend some time with a few children who were at after school clubs.
"He is very much looking forward to leading our staff team, meeting parents, and continuing the links with the Church and the community."
