The Little Garden Day Nursery in Clapham has been nominated in Sudocrem’s annual Play More Campaign, awarding the most deserving nurseries with funding to improve their play equipment or outdoor play area.
The Play More Campaign, run by Sudocrem, aims to encourage more children to get outside and play by giving nurseries and play groups the opportunity to develop their outdoor facilities.
Prizes will be awarded to a total of 15 nurseries at the end of August, ranging from a £500 outdoor regeneration grant to buy brand new play equipment.
Parents who nominated the nursery praised the “kind and caring” nature of the staff as well as their efforts in making both parents and children feel comfortable and at ease.
Sudocrem’s brand manager, Georgina Fotopoulou said of the campaign, “Children love outdoor play but they’re bound to scrape their knees. This is all part of the learning process. We’ve been healing skin for generations and we’re proud to promote the spirit of adventure with Play More.”
Sudocrem has been encouraging parents to be “more dareful and less careful” when it comes to getting their kids outside and their Play More initiative has been helping this cause.
The campaign’s competition closes on 31st August so there’s still time to nominate your local nursery by visiting www.sudocrem.co.uk/social-hub.
