Two men charged in connection with the murder of Malachi Brooks in Battersea have been remanded in custody after a court appearance today (September 4).
Joel Preddie, 20 of Chantry Way, Mitcham, was charged on Saturday, September 2 with murder and arson.
Abdul Popatpotra, 26, Totterdown Street, Tooting, was charged on the same day with arson and perverting the course of justice.
Both appeared today before Wimbledon magistrates.
Preddie’s next court appearance will be at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, September 6, while Popatpotra will appear at the same court on September 29.
Malachi, 21, was stabbed to death in Surrey Lane in the early hours of the morning on March 28.
