A new nursery has officially opened on a new development in Battersea.
Families from across the community attended The Battersea Nursery and Pre-School's launch event, where The Snowman and the Snowdog officially opened the facility in Nine Elms Lane, Kirtling Street.
Parent Mrs Manning said: “I loved the decorations and the snowman. My grandson wasn’t sure at first, but once he saw the other children taking photos with The Snowman he soon warmed up to the idea.
“It was lovely meeting everyone and seeing the amazing resources.”
The purpose-built nursery is available to toddlers, infants and babies from birth to five years old.
Keelie Leahy, of Busy Bees Childcare, said: “We were so excited to officially open the nursery to families in the area – we want it to become the hub of the community, particularly as lots of new parents are coming to Battersea without any prior knowledge of the area.”
The nursery now has open-plan suites that aim to have a home-from-home environment while providing children with separate areas for rest time, creative play and meal times.
The launch event was held on November 25.
